His Butler, Enduring

[He feed clicks on. He's not amused at all. The promise of going home is an exciting endevour and half of him hopes Ciel was only a test of many, but why now, even though they post mark it as the two years. Why not on the first year? Why not just slaughter them all]

Not until I see and feel it happen, will I believe such a ridiculous notion.

[He thinks for a moment, pausing. Perhaps he should have something prepared for his young master, should he return. He's less charming than before, clearly bored]

Foolish. Even if set free, are you willing to pay any price needed for it?

It is rather out of the blue isn't it?

Well, either we're really going home, in which case, supposedly, all our memories and time spent here will have seemed only a dream that we can't remember. A shame really...

Or, the animus are up to their tricks, and we're staying here, but something is going to happen. Another one of their "events".

I enjoyed my time with my master.

No annoying fledglings or butlers to get in the way.

Many unpleasantries await me in London so my master tells me.

Among them, my death. It's rather hard to serve one's master when they're dead, and not just in body.

As much as I dislike this place, from the ruin, to the events, to the cold, I'd rather stay and serve master Integra here than return home and fight the enemy to my enivitable demise.
